Day
1
Chiang Mai - Mae Hong Son
Day 1: It’s arrival day in Mae Hong Son, the “City of Three Mists”. After transfer and check-in at the hotel, guests are free to explore until our welcome briefing, dinner and vehicle check.

Mae Hong Son - Mae Sariang - 164 kms
Day 2: Start the day exploring local culture and customs, with a visit to the hilltribe community of a local Karen Long Neck village. Afterwards, we’ll return to the hotel for check-out, before heading to the tranquil town of Mae Sariang.. (Google Map)

Mae Sariang - Mae Sot - 237 kms
Day 3: It’s time to trace the border with Myanmar along sensational, empty roads on the way to Mae Sot. We’ll stop to find out more about the region along the way, visiting a local school, a refugee camp and the magical Mae Usu Cave. (Google Map)

Mae Sot - Umphang - 179 kms
Day 4: It’s a short but scenic ride to the remote town of Umpang today, on our way to Thailand’s largest protected area of forest. This little town is located at the entry point to a vast national reserve area that connects to Kanchana Buri Province. (Google Map)

Umphang - Sukhothai - 322 kms
Day 5: After breakfast, it’s time to make for the World Heritage Site of Sukhothai, the first capital of Siam. We’ll trace our winding route back to Mae Sot, before powering along straight road from Tak to Sukhothai. (Google Map)

Day 6: . It’s a free morning, until the shuttle bus transfer back to Sukhothai airport, ready for your flight back to Bangkok.

The Lost Land of the Forests
This tour has several variables that affect its cost, including;
- Choice of motorcycles: in ascending order of cost – Honda CRF250L or CBX500, BMW G310GS, F700GS, F800GS or F1200GS.
- Bringing your own Motorcycle? If you have a bike in Asia, or want to ship yours in, we can make that work for you.
- Pillion Passenger: riding with a companion is no problem.
- Accommodation: base rate is based on sharing a room, but single occupancy is available at 200€.
The base rate for one person, riding one of our Honda CRF250L’s, sharing a twin room, and with no pillion rider is: 1,600€
